In part 3 of "The Little Red Hen," the story continues with the hen asking for help from the other animals on the farm to plant, water, harvest, and grind the wheat into flour to make bread. However, once again, the animals refuse to help her, saying they are too busy. Undeterred, the little red hen decides to do everything herself.
She plants the wheat, waters it, harvests it, and then asks the other animals if they will help her grind the wheat into flour. Once again, they all refuse. So, the little red hen goes ahead and grinds the wheat into flour all by herself.
Finally, the little red hen bakes the bread and when it is ready, the delicious smell wafts across the farm. This time, when she asks who will help her eat the bread, all the other animals eagerly raise their hands, but the little red hen firmly tells them that since they did not help her at any point in the process, they do not get to share in the rewards.
The moral of the story is about the importance of hard work, perseverance, and taking responsibility for your actions. The little red hen's determination and self-reliance are admirable qualities that are highlighted throughout the story.
